Pet of the Week: Diva, the pretty Rottweiler mix
WASHINGTON - Poor Diva just can't catch a break. This pretty Rottweiler mix was relinquished to the Washington Animal Rescue League because her owner's landlord prohibited pets.
She was adopted shortly afterward, but returned within days because she considered her adopter's cat her own personal squeaky toy.
And yet another adoption fell through because she was too energetic.
Diva is only a year old so energy and playfulness are just part of the package. We are so hoping that the third time is the charm for this friendly, happy girl.
She will make someone an absolutely wonderful canine companion.
WTOP Living is partnering with the Washington Animal Rescue League to feature a Pet of the Week available for adoption. For more information about Diva, email adoption@warl.org or call 202-726-2556 ext. 503.
